Constantia Home Care continually looks for ways to improve your knowledge with a Training Program that provides you with the best person centered approach and the confidence essential to meet your clients individual needs; ensuring their dignity and well-being at all times.

Our carers are trained and supported by our Accredited Training Team and colleagues with the knowledge they can access whatever information they need to ensure they can support our Clients.

There is also a 24 hour helpline available to you to access any information you may need in the delivery of your care of our clients.

You will need an existing DBS on the online update service or to apply for one through us at your cost. For a new DBS application please refer to our DBS checklist to find out what documentation is required.

We recommend you purchase carers liability insurance. Please ask for our advice should you need guidance on where to purchase this.

Once you are registered and ready to begin we will require you to complete the mandatory Care Certificate modules and attend pour Training Centre for further courses.

Our Care Assistant Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 Years’ experience is preferable but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Written and spoken English to an intermediate level
  • Ability to attend mandatory training
  • Preferable to have opened a UK Bank Account
  • Have an EU or UK passport or have a permit to work in the UK
